Cathal Ó Sándair and his characters gave me manys the nights good reading with a torch, under the covers, in my youth. I spoke with him a few times in later years, circa late 1994 and 1995, and we worked on a little project that saw Cathal taking to the airwaves with material he had previoulsy unpublished I believe. It was nice in a small way to be able to return the favour.

I am very interested in the writings of Cathal O Sandair and the man himself, his influences, inspiration, as well as his fanbase.

I would appreciate any info, about the man - besides the online ones.

I have been checking out various library databases but academic material on his writing seems scarce.

Advice much appreciated.
